Wales secure a win in U20 Summer Series opener

Wales Under 20s got their Summer Series underway yesterday in Italy, securing a 45-15 victory over Scotland.

The seven try romp, at Stadio Comunale di Monigo, was Wales’ Summer Series opener with games against Georgia and Italy still to come over the next few weeks.

Treviso’s scorching summer heat didn’t distract the young Welshmen as they convincingly brushed Scotland aside.

Josh Phillips and Caleb Salmon both appeared from the bench with Phillips kicking two conversions.
