New kit unveiled

Welsh Premiership side Llanelli RFC have today unveiled a groundbreaking new kit that will be worn for the first time on Saturday 11th December.

The new kit, unveiled across the club’s social media platforms today, will be worn for the Indigo Group Premiership in 2021-22 and 2022-23, when Llanelli RFC will celebrate 150 years of rugby.

RNF Property Group, Dyfed Steels, Celtic Couriers and Country Stores Gowerton, who feature on the current kit, will continue their support of Llanelli RFC over the next 18 months while RCS Teamwear remain as the club’s main kit and teamwear supplier.

In addition to the fantastic continued support of the existing sponsors, an additional 18 sponsors have come on board for the new Indigo Group Premiership season, featuring on the playing kit.

The companies that will feature on the kit are RNF Property Group, Enzo’s Homes, Ronnie S. Evans, Ammanford Recycling Ltd, Lewis Construction, Dyfed Steels, CC Repairs, Coracle Coaches, CSI Llanelli, AMG Resources, Parsons Pickles, Vaughan Construction, Southside Marine, Celtic Couriers and finally LINC, who have been instrumental in the successful on-boarding of new sponsors.

  

The companies that will feature on the shorts for the next eighteen months are The Halfway Llanelli, Coleg Sir Gâr, Felinfoel Brewery, Country Stores Gowerton, Cwmfarm Charcuterie Products, HYVE and Gomer Williams Solicitors.

Llanelli RFC Head of Rugby Anthony Buchanan said; “Firstly, I’d like to say a huge thank you to players, staff, volunteers and sponsors alike for their continued support and patience over the last two seasons. It has been an exceptionally difficult time and we are eternally grateful to everyone for their support throughout.

“Despite the inevitable financial downturn caused by the global pandemic, we are fortunate not only to be welcoming the continuing support of existing sponsors, but also a number of new sponsors to the Llanelli RFC family.

“It is a source of great pride that we’ve been able to secure a revenue increase of over 300% on last season’s kit, thanks to the support of the local business community.”

The kit features the traditional scarlet colour jersey with white shorts. Llanelli will wear the new kit on Saturday 11thDecember, when they welcome Cardiff to Parc y Scarlets, as the Indigo Group Premiership returns to action.
