Llanelli were beaten 45-17 in a rescheduled Indigo Premiership match against Bridgend Ravens at the Dunraven Brewery Field on Friday night.
Missing a number of regulars it was always going to be a challenge for the visitors and so it proved against an in-form Ravens team.
Bridgend led 21-5 at the break thanks to tries from No. 8 Jordan Collier (2) and hooker Gareth Harvey with wing Elli Evans crossing in the corner on the stroke of half-time to give Llanelli something to show for their first-half efforts,
However, Bridgend continued to dominate the contest in the second period.
Harvey grabbed his second from another line-out rumble; fly-half Luke Price intercepted and raced away to add to the misery, then replacement Reuben Tucker crossed for a sixth Ravens score.
Centre Joe Hutchings burst through for a second Llanelli try midway through the second period, only for the home side to respond with a seventh try through Connor Tatum.
Llanelli did have the final word through a late consolation for full-back Louis Rees, but they remain searching for their first win since the end of October.
That win came against Pontypridd at Sardis Road and Ponty are our next opponents at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday.
