Llanelli team to face Swansea at the Parc

Head Coach Paul Fisher has named his side for the penultimate test of the WRU Indigo Group Premiership Cup, to be played at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday 20th November.

With only two games left in the current competition, Llanelli will be keen to secure a win, their first of the season, before the Premiership season gets underway in December.

Results show a winless Cup campaign thus far but Llanelli have been on the wrong side of a narrow loss at home on three occasions, against Aberavon, Carmarthen Quins and Bridgend.

Llanelli welcome Swansea to Parc y Scarlets on Saturday, the final home game in the Cup before a West Wales derby against Carmarthen Quins next weekend.

Iwan Evans is named at fullback for Saturday’s clash, moving from the inside centre. Tristan James moves from the left to right wingwith Harrison Button coming in on the left. Ryan Davies retains his place in the centre and is joined by Llanelli stalwart Jonny Lewis. Llew Smith switches to the outside half berth to link up with scrum half Ifan Beynon Thomas.

Chris Long partners Ashleigh Hyndman in the second row with only a positional change in the back row, with Ryan Jenkins at six and Nathan Hart captaining from number 8.
