Llanelli take on table-toppers at the Parc

It’s a second home game in as many weeks as we prepare to welcome Newport to the Parc this Sunday.

Newport top the Indigo Premiership table having secured their fifth victory, from five games, against Ebbw Vale last week.

Defeat to Cardiff last Friday sees us sitting third from bottom in the Premiership table with two weekends on the road ahead, travelling to Merthyr and Aberavon, before returning home at the end of the month for a West Wales derby against Llandovery.

With an average age of just 25 Llanelli’s starting XV, on Sunday, sees a number of the region’s young players getting an opportunity to feature in the Indigo Premiership.

Head Coach Paul Fisher said; “The region’s grassroots clubs are to be commended for supporting their players’ development. We’re particularly grateful to them for their continued support of us as a club, which continues to help the region’s young talent and rugby as a whole in West Wales.”
