Llanelli have rung the changes for Saturday’s Premiership Cup clash with Swansea at St Helen’s (1.30pm).
With last weekend’s Indigo Premiership fixture at Ebbw Vale postponed, it means Llanelli face familiar opponents in their second match of the campaign, having beaten the All Whites 46-26 at Parc y Scarlets in the opening round of the league season.
Head coach Phil John has selected a very different line-up that took the field in that match, with a number of talented youngsters again handed opportunities.
Wales U20s and Scarlets centre Eddie James (pictured) is set for his Llanelli debut and he links up with Jack Price in a powerful midfield combination.
Josh Phillips switches from full-back to fly-half where he partners his former Wales U20s team-mate Luke Davies.
Up front, hooker Llew Phillips-Taylor continues to captain the side and packs down alongside Cori Phillips and Tom Zoogah. Christian Long and Joe Graves again start in the second row, while there is a new back-row of Ryan Jenkins, Luca Giannini and No. 8 Ben Williams.
Scarlets Academy players Caleb Salmon, Archie Hughes, Tal Rees and Iestyn Gwilliam are among those named on the bench.
