Another important fixture looms for the town semi’s. We are once again in action this coming Saturday when we host Bedwas RFC at Parc y Scarlets. A warm welcome awaits everyone who comes along to this Principality Premiership league game.
For those of us who were at the Arms Park last week witnessed a really entertaining game with both teams seemingly scoring tries at will. Yes, we were on the wrong end of the result but it was another case of massive effort by the entire matchday 23 – team spirit remains high and hopefully we can get back to winning ways this weekend. Of course our opponents will have a massive say in that!
Like ourselves Bedwas had a disappointing start to their Premiership campaign but have turned things around in the last few weeks. They went to Bargoed a few weeks ago and turned them over, given that their opponents that day have beaten both ourselves and Aberavon that looks like an excellent result. Last Saturday they travelled to Cross Keys and gained another important victory so they come to the Parc will confidence on a high. With two recent away wins under their belts they will provide very tough opposition. Llanelli will need to work very hard to get the better of them.
So, another very important game coming up then – hope to you all on Saturday.
