We start the new Premiership season with a local derby against the All Whites in St Helens this coming Saturday. Kick off is 2.30pm, it should be a cracking game so we look forward to seeing you in Swansea.
It’s very much all change at Llanelli RFC, quite a number of boys with us last year have moved on to other clubs – we wish them all well. We’ve brought in a lot of new players into the squad who are no doubt delighted & itching to put the shirt on and represent this famous club of ours.
New players include

Rhys Cherry – hooker – played a few times last year on permit from Waunarlwydd
Ed Couzens – 2nd row ex Trebanos
Lewis Davies – Prop, previously with Narberth
3 boys have transferred in from Championship side Tata, Bleddyn Davies (Centre), Steffan Davies (Scrum Half), Jacob Lewis (back row)
Gareth Harvard (tight head) played numerous times for us in recent seasons on permit from Felinfoel, now registered with Llanelli.

Iwan Temblett (Scrum Half) formerly with Trebanos, Aberavon & Ospreys Acedemy

Our new medical team are working with a couple of lads who have short term injuries but all being well they’ll be up & running quite soon. One stalwart, Ash Hyndman is waiting for a shoulder operation, we wish him well and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch as soon as.
The regional A side will also be playing this weekend and a few of our boys are involved in that fixture so our matchday squad on Saturday will include a few boys coming in on permit from local clubs.
