Black&Ambers come to town

Another round of Principality Premiership matches for the semi’s is on the horizon. This weekend we take on the Black & Ambers at Parc y Scarlets on Sunday afternoon, kick off at usual time of 2.30pm. Weather forecast looks ok, so we should be in for another exciting game of rugby.  We look forward to welcoming our visitors and all our home supporters who will be hoping that come 4.15ish the town semi’s can secure a very much needed win.
Having said that, our opponents Newport RFC have had a super start to their campaign. Three wins from four, with the only defeat so far coming at the Arms Park against Cardiff – a game that could so easily have gone to the Black & Ambers! They secured a fine home win last week against Bedwas and will come to  the ‘parc’ looking to continue their fine form. Head coach Craig Warlow will undoubtedly prepare his side well and they will definitely pose a real threat to the young Llanelli side.
We all know that results have not been good so far, but the mood in the camp is still very much ‘upbeat’. Our recent performances against top Premiership side’s Llandovery & Merthyr have been encouraging but the boys know that they will need to make the most of the opportunities that arise on Sunday.
So, a fine afternoon in prospect then, why not come along to support the town semi’s on Sunday, as I’ve said it should be another exciting encounter.
