The boys are back in Premiership action again on Saturday. We take on Pontypridd at Sardis Road with the game kicking off at 2.30pm.
Although the result last Saturday was very disappointing the attitude and commitment from all the squad couldn’t be faulted, they gave everything they had. That’s what is expected when you put on our famous shirt and the same & more will be required if we’re to get a result from this game. Yes, it’s a big ask, but there is a lot of talent in the squad so they have the ability to get results anywhere.
Pontypridd will present a very tough challenge, they secured a good win at Bedwas last weekend to get their start to the new season off to a flyer. Having been behind at the internal they scored four tries in quick succession to turn the game on its head with the backs in particular looking extremely sharp. They will put the Llanelli defence to the test so we must remain alert to their threat for the full 80+ minutes.
I’m sure all the squad will be working extremely hard this week looking at where they can put “Ponty” under pressure together with improving on those areas that went array last Saturday.
