Ravens will present a big challenge

we are one again in mid week action. On Thursday evening k.o 7.30pm we take on Bridgend Ravens in our next Principality Premiership league encounter. As always we look forward to seeing everyone at Parc-y-Scarlets and a warm welcome awaits.

The boys were understandably disappointed at how the game panned out at the Arms Park, After conceding a couple of quick tries in the first quarter they were always playing catch up rugby. Try as they might it just wasn’t to be and they must try again on Thursday against an inform Bridgend side. We’ve played twice so far this season, in the West Group, going down at the Brewery field but winning the home game with a Nathan Hart try very late on. Both sides I’m sure will, say that they’ve improved in recent weeks so I’m sure we will be in for another entertaining semi pro game.

Bridgend’s results have certainly improved over the last month or so, indeed they’ve secured 4 out 6 wins and turned over some very good sides in the process. They secured a fine home win last Saturday at home against the All Whites so will looking to take that performance into this fixture.

So, it’s semi pro action at the Parc on Thursday evening, as always we’re extremely grateful for your continued support and look forward to seeing you once again.
