Cardiff challenge ahead

It's our second game in five days as this time we travel along the M4 to take on Cardiff RFC in our next Principality Premiership league match. The game kick's off at the Arms Park at 7.15pm this coming Wednesday and with the weather set fair we could be in for another exciting all action clash.
The Neath game last Saturday was 'one of those games' right from the off it was end to end stuff and continued that way until the 80th minute when the boys scored their winning try. At times it was a little frantic to say the least with both ourselves and Neath throwing the ball about aka 7's! I'm sure the coaching staff will be looking quite closely at that performance and yes, while it was really entertaining, if we are to take something from the game on Wednesday the boys will need to respect the ball more and improve their defensive lines. I'm sure the training session ahead of the game on Tuesday will address these issues and more.
Our opponents Cardiff lie in 5th spot in the league having secured 6 wins in the second phase so far. They had a run of excellent results through March to stake a claim for top honours but have been on the wrong end of results so far in April. Last week they got turned over at Pandy Park against Cross Keys so will be glad to get back on home turf and to get back to winning ways. Of course, the boys will have a say in that! Our recent matches against Cardiff have been really close games with the result going down to the wire on a number of occasions - whether it's deja vu this time round, we'll see!
Hope to see you in Cardiff on Wednesday
