Llanelli travelled to Bedwas for their first match of the season in the Principality Premiership in perfect weather conditions.
Roy Osborn had to pull out of the squad on the morning of the game and was replaced by Greg George on permit from Bridgend Ravens.

Justin James was looking sharp at the base of the scrum and back to his best since returning from Swansea and he sniped through under the posts for Llanelli’s first try converted by Climo.
Richard Powell kicked another 2 penalties one excellent long distance effort but it was Llanelli who finished the first half on top, scoring two tries from Steffan Evans and Frazier Climo who converted both and added another penalty for a
27 -23 half time lead.
Climo who was in fine kicking form kicked another penalty and converted an excellent try by young right-winger Josh Adams.
Bedwas replacements Matthew John scored the last try of the game, which was converted by Jack Maynard.
