In near perfect conditions Llanelli earned another valuable 5 Principality Premiership at Bridgend to keep them in contention for the end of season play-off place.
Llanelli’s opening 20 minutes and their last 20 minutes of the game was very satisfying, playing open yet controlled rugby. However the 40 minutes in between was far from flawless.
Josh Lewis again showed up well contributing another 16 points as did No 8 Owain Morgan who just about edged Josh for Llanelli RFC man of the match. Josh opened the scoring with a well-struck penalty and also converted two well worked tries for prop Rhys Thomas & wing Josh Adams.
With Llanelli leading 17 nil the homesters then took the game by the scruff of the neck and replied with 3 tries from Rhys Ward James, Arthur Ellis & Ryan Evans with James Dixon converting one.
In first half injury time replacement centre James Griffiths scored another fine try which Josh Lewis converted to restore the lead.
