Llanelli away trip to Llandovery in the Principality Premiership turned out to be their worst performance for several years.
A solitary penalty from full back Dion Jones in the 28th minute was their only score of the match. They did create a few try scoring opprtunities but were kept out by a very well organized and committed home defence.
Playing into the wind the Drovers were managing to keep ball with ease while the visitors seemed to struggle at every contact situation.
The hungry Drovers were in complete control and had their just reward in the first half with two tries, one from former Llanelli & Scarlets second row Bryn Grifiths and the other from prop Wyn Jones , one converted from by James Garland.
It was plain to see the writing was on the wall for the lack lustre Llanelli team and the homesters were determined to avenge their previous two home defeats to their regional neighbours.
Pembrey boy Aaron Warren was the star of the second period running in 4 excellent tries in the 43rd,61st,73rd and 75th minute with Garland converting one plus adding a penalty, while Garland's replacement Ian Brookes kicked the other two conversions for a comprehensive win for the Drovers.
Llanelli’s next home game is in the Principality Premiership on Tuesday evening 3rd December with a 7.15 pm kick off.
