Llanelli played Connaght A for the first time and turned in a stunning performance against the shell shocked visitors.
This British & irish Cup match was nip and tuck for the first half hour with full back Tadg Leader opening the scoring which outside half Aled Thomas cancelled out.
Young Steffan Evans then opened the onslaught on 14 minutes with a class finish which Aled converted.
Captain Jack Carty then took over Connaught’s kicking duties and slotted a couple of penalties but unfortunately for them that was their only contribution to the score board by halftime.
While Llanelli rattled up their try bonus point by half time, with top tries from Adam & Arron Warren and Kyle Evans who later left the field with a calf injury. Aled Thomas kicked all the conversions and put in a fine all round performance being successful with his seven kicks from eight attempts.
Man of the match Aaron Warren got the ball rolling with a try in the second minute of the second half only for Connaght to counter with a fine individual try from Dave McSharry.
But the Llanelli try machine was in overdrive by now and another six touch downs followed from Aaron Warren 2, Adam Warren, Steffan Evans, and Dion Jones 2, who looked sharp on his return from injury.
Replacement outside half Josh Lewis also impressed in the last 20 minutes keeping the potent Llanelli backline in momentum and was successful with three of his four conversion kicks.
