What an excellent game and in particular result it was at Bridge Field with Llanelli getting the vital four Principality Premiership points.
Llanelli opened the game with pace and direction with Craig Price and full back Justin James outstanding.
Diggy Bird was orchestrating things well at fly half and opened the scoring with a simple penalty and although missing a few kickable goals, had a fine match overall.
The diminutive Justin James, who normally starts so many moves from scrum half, was at the end of a great movement of play as he touched down for the first of his brace of tries, courtesy of his cameo full back role.
The Llanelli scrum was functioning well and it was bad news watching the inform Aled Hopkins hobbling off, (with which looked like a knee injury) after just 9minutes of play
Llanelli should have finnished with a couple more first half tries but Bedwas were superb in defence and although they too had chances, the Llanelli defence was also equal to the task.
Outside half Richard Powell kept Bedwas very much in the match with three well struck penalties as Diggy also kicked a couple, for a14-9 half time lead.
Bedwas came off the ropes in the second half and dominated the opening exchanges and more pressure saw experienced No 8 Deri Martraves score close to the posts which Powell converted who then kicked his fourth penalty of the match to take the lead on 62 minutes.
Llanelli's response was immediate and clinical as Justin James( now playing scrum half) scored after a fine build up of play and Diggy slotted the conversion to regain the lead.
Both sides again had chances to score only for some unforced errors to deny them as Referee Ian Davies blew for the final whistle.
