Llanelli lost this British and Irish Cup game against English Championship side Bristol by 27 -17 at the Memorial Ground but are still confident they are on target to reach the quarter-finals of this years competition.
Bristol’s solid scrum paved the way for the four tires to two victory as they continually disrupted the Llanelli eight.

With the wind on their backs Llanelli were hoping for a positive start but following another infringement Jarvis kicked the easy penalty for a 17 - 3 lead.
Three minutes later Llanelli right wing Johnny Lewis finished off a good passage of play between him an his former Waunarwydd team-mate Liam Williams to touch down, which Shingler converted to reduce the arrears.
Unfortunately for Llanelli the indiscipline continued and Bristols two quick tries in the 63rd and 68th minute from Tovey and Montagu sealed the victory.
Llanelli rounded the scoring off with another try from Matt Gilbert converted by Dan Newton.
On the negative side was the nasty injury in the last play of the game to impressive centre Chris Keenan to go along with heavy knocks taken by Shingler, Newton and prop Aled Hopkins.
While on the positive side, its all to play for in the last group match of the B & I Cup when Llanelli play another English Championship side Nottingham on Wenesday 23rd of February at Parc Y Scarlets.
