2017/2018 Principality Premiership
Llanelli 5 v 19 Llandovery
09 September 2017 - Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli

Match Preview

Premiership action this Saturday Parc Y Scarlets

After our long journey last week we are back on home soil in this weeks Principality Premiership west group fixture. The game kicks off at Parc-y-Scarlets on Saturday at 2.30pm where we host our fellow regionalists Llandovery RFC. As is always the case, a warm welcome awaits all the 'Drovers' players, officials and supporters. If recent fixtures are anything to go by we should be in for another really entertaining semi pro game.
The boys put in a good performance against RGC and must have been disappointed not to come away with the 'W'. Having said that, they did play some really good rugby and will have taken a lot from the game. No doubt more of the same and 'more' will be required to earn the points on offer this Saturday!

Our opponents Llandovery have had an excellent start to their league campaign with wins over RGC and last week at Bridgend Ravens. As you would expect Drovers head coach Euros Evans and his coaching team will be working hard this week to try and ensure their winning start to the season continues at the 'parc' on Saturday. Of course Phil and his coaching team will be doing their utmost to ensure that the town semi's are equally well prepared to face the challenge that Llandovery will bring.

We've had some really good battles over the years with the 'Drovers' and the chances are it will be more of the same come the weekend. Why not come along to support Llanelli and catch some exciting semi pro action. Ymlaen!
