26 November 2016 - The Gnoll, Neath

Match Preview

Early kick off at the Gnoll

We're once again in Premiership action this weekend. We travel along the M4 to take on Neath RFC at the Gnoll in an early kick off, namely 1.30pm. As usual all will be made most welcome by our hosts.
After the boys worked very hard last week against Keys they came up just shy of the win that would have kept up their recent momentum. But, Adam and the squad have to pick themselves up and look to get back to winning ways by turning over this week's opponents. Over recent seasons this fixture has produced some very good games and results have generally been good for Llanelli. Yes, the boys came unstuck last time out back at the end of last season but that will count for nothing come Saturday. Neath will provide a stern test we know that, but with the talent in the squad the boys know that if they bring their "A" game to the Gnoll they can come away with a "W".
Of course Neath will have a lot to say themselves. They earned a really good win last time out against Bridgend and will fancy their chances against a side in a similar league position. Like ourselves they have won three times in the league so far and will want to pick up where they left off last week. Looking at their results , they have really competed in all their fixtures and maybe with a little more luck could easily have earned a few more wins, so as I've stated will really fancy their chances against us.
It promises to be another exciting semi pro game and as it's a curtain raiser (so to speak) before the Wales game it's another full on rugby day. Hope to see you at the Gnoll for the 1.30 pm kick off.
