We're back in action this weekend at the 'Parc' when we host our regional neighbours Llandovery in the tenth round of Principality Premiership league fixtures. As always we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday for what will, I'm sure be another exciting clash.
The boy's were well in the game last week at Aberavon but some crucial injuries and two yellow cards didn't help our cause and in the end the home side ran in some late tries to really take the game away from us. So it's a case of more hard work this week working on our discipline and the areas where we came unstuck at the Talbot Athletic Ground. The Drovers turned us over in our second game of the season at Church Bank so the boy's will be looking to turn that result around and get back to winning ways.
As for the Drovers, they're having a very good start to this year's campaign and will be looking to build on their home win last week against Neath - a game they won rather more easily that the score suggests. Indeed, reading the match report, they squandered numerous chances in the second half which clearly demonstrated that they play an open, attractive style of rugby with a lot off pace behind the scrum. They lie in fourth spot and will want to do the double over us, big time!
Having said all that, we too have started to play some really good stuff so all the ingredients are there for a really good Premiership game of rugby.
So, why not take some time out and come along to Parc-y-Scarlets this Saturday and see some of the fine young talent we have in the region.
