2015/2016 Principality Premiership
Llanelli 24 v 30 Cardiff
19 September 2015 - Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli

Match Preview

Cardiff RFC visit Parc Y Scarlets

We're back in Principality Premiership action this week-end and
will be hosting the Capital side Cardiff RFC at Parc-y-Scarlets. A warm welcome
to all our supporters and everyone from Cardiff travelling up the M4 to see
another exciting league encounter. If this game is anything like our recent
clashes then we should be in for some exciting action.
We came away empty
handed from Church Bank last Saturday but the boy's competed extremely well
against our fellow regionalists. The boy's created a number of chances to score,
particularly in the first half and that goes to show we have the talent but,
like Ponty the previous week we need to be a lot more clinical when
opportunities arise. I'm sure the coaching staff will also be looking at our
discipline too, as we will need to improve big time if we're to claim our first
win of the season against a talented Cardiff side.
Talking of which, after been
turned over at the Talbot athletic ground in their fist game, they secured a
superb away victory last Saturday at Cross Keys so will be coming into this
fixture full of confidence. Reading the match report from that game, it seems
their defensive effort won them the day and that speaks a lot for their team
ethic and all round commitment. No doubt they will come to the "Parc" with the
same attitude and desire to claim the points on offer.
Of course for Llanelli
it's another chance to go out and perform to the level that we know they're
capable of. So, more hard prep work required this week ahead of another tough
Premiership clash.
As always we appreciate all your support and look forward to
seeing you all on Saturday.
