29 November 2013 - Church Bank, Llandovery

Match Preview

Drovers Next up

Our next Premiership game will be another tough encounter, this time we will be hosted by Llandovery RFC.

Yes, we were disappointed at the result at Sardis last weekend but there were a number of positives that the semi’s can look to build on ahead of the game with the Drovers. At the same time, the errors in the game were plain to see & the boy’s will be working hard this week to put those right. We’ll need to, if we are to get back to winning ways.

Our hosts Llandovery are having another fine season. They sit in 4th spot in the league having secured some really good results already – they’re unbeaten in the Premiership at home so far! Last week they travelled to Bridgend, which is always a difficult place to go and win. They secured a hard fought draw to maintain their current momentum and will no doubt welcome our challenge with some relish come Friday night.

We managed to turn them over on our last two visits to Church Bank, in the play-off’s at the end of last season and in the B&I playoff game so the boy’s know what it takes to secure the “W”. Of course those results are behind us and the result on Friday will come down to the side who makes the most of the opportunities they create  - Llanelli are more than capable of doing just that.

If recent matches are anything to go by, we should be in for a cracking evening semi pro regional clash with I’m sure, both sides eager to entertain the crowd by playing some attractive running rugby.

Look forward to seeing you there.
